
Track to Compete at Sharonda Coleman Invitational

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Charleston track and field will compete at the Sharonda Coleman Invitational Saturday, April 18 in Orangeburg, S.C.
The Cougars have had a record setting season with freshman Trinity Jones setting a new program record in the 400m dash at the Duke Invitational most recently. Jones ran a new personal and program best 55.75 for a 12th place finish out of 75 women.
In the 100m dash at the Duke Invite, Jackie Sides and Gabby Brailsford ran program second and third best times, respectively.
Abby Mogg, Gail Vaikutis and Katie O'Toole all ran program top 10 times in the 1500m at the Duke Invitational. Last year at the Sharonda Coleman Invitational, O'Toole won the 1500m in a time of 4:47.92 and Mogg placed third.
Kinsley Allen placed first in the high jump at the invite in 2025, clearing 1.65m. Last weekend at the Duke Invitational, Allen cleared 1.71m for a second-place finish.
