
Track and Field to Compete at CAA Championships

ELON, N.C. – Charleston track and field will travel to Elon, N.C. for the CAA Outdoor Championship meet May 15 and 16.
The Cougars will send 25 athletes to compete at the conference championships.
Freshman, Tori-Ann Anderson is entered in the high jump. Anderson holds the all-time program second-best mark of 1.76m which she cleared at the Sharonda Coleman Invitational. Her mark currently ranks her 27 in the East Region to qualify for NCAA Regionals.
Trinity Jones is entered in the 400m and currently holds the program record in the event. She ran an all-time best of 55.75 at the Duke Invitational in April.
Elaine Zhai and Boston Stringer will represent the Cougars in the pole vault while each clearing 3.80m earlier this season. The pair is tied for fourth all-time in the Charleston record book.
