CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston volleyball team hosts the Steve Baumrind Invitational Sept. 11-13, presented by Hampton Inn and Suites West Ashley. The Cougars welcome Duquesne, Northern Kentucky and Notre Dame to TD Arena. All three home matches will broadcast live on FloCollege with Sunday's match against the Fighting Irish also streaming on Prime Video.
The first 50 students to enter Friday's match will receive free Chick-Fil-A while students can also enter a raffle to win a JBL speaker and an Apple Watch. Sunday is Camper Reunion Day where all Charleston volleyball campers are invited back to TD Arena to cheer on the Cougars!

WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
- Friday, Sept. 11: vs. Duquesne at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 12: vs. Northern Kentucky at 1 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 13: vs. Notre Dame at 1 p.m.
OPENING SERVE:
- Charleston swept Presbyterian on the road Tuesday for its fifth straight victory.
- CofC hit .340 with 47 kills across the three sets.
- Sophomores Julia Gnida and Caroline Noonan had 11 kills while senior Gabby Tuiaana recorded 10 kills.
- Noonan hit .667 against the Blue Hose and her .485 season hitting percentage is good for ninth in the country.
- Sophomore Jumana Martin enters the weekend with 13 service aces, which is third in the conference and 31st nationally.
- During the five-match winning streak, CofC is hitting .301 while holding opponents to .158. CofC is also averaging 2.01 aces per set.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS:
- Duquesne enters the weekend a perfect 6-0, having lost just one set to begin the year.
- Northern Kentucky is 1-5 on the year. After beating Fresno State in five sets in their opener, the Norse have lost the last five contests.
- Notre Dame sits at 1-3, having lost to Georgia Tuesday in four sets in the ACC/SEC Challenge.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston faces Duquesne and Northern Kentucky for the first time in school history this weekend.
- CofC has faced Notre Dame twice previously and are 0-2. The Cougars first faced the Fighting Irish in 2002, which was the first NCAA appearance for CofC in program history. Charleston also Sept. 7, 2007.
