Cougars to Host CofC Invitational to Open Fall Slate

Charleston, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's tennis team will open its fall season Friday, September 18, hosting the CofC Invitational at the Turner Tennis Center. Â
The Cougars return seven players from last year's roster, including Oziera Ahmad and Riley Trinkle, who both earned CAA postseason honors in the spring. Charleston also welcomes four newcomers in freshmen Sophia Kovacheva and Aneta Holubova and transfers Paula Dougherty and Ella DeFord.Â
Head coach Doug Matthews also added Ryan Rasco to the staff, who enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Cougars.Â
The CofC Invitational will feature UNC Greensboro, North Florida, and Coastal Carolina competing alongside the Cougars. Â
