CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston volleyball continues league play when it welcomes Towson to TD Arena Sept. 25 and 26. Match times are set for 6 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

OPENING SERVE:
- Charleston went on the road to Elon and swept the Phoenix in straight sets both matches to begin conference play 2-0.
- With the victories, the Cougars improve their win streak to 10. CofC joins Pittsburgh, Nebraska and Michigan State as the only four schools with active 10-match winning streaks from games in the 2026 campaign.
- During the streak, Charleston has lost just four sets.
- Charleston's 10-2 record in 2026 is the best start to a season since 2005, when the Cougars began the campaign 11-1. That team finished 32-2, having advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
- In the last 10 matches, Charleston is hitting .300 with 13.62 kills per set and 2.47 blocks per set while holding opponents to a .148 attacking percentage. CofC also averages 2.03 service aces per set.
- Senior Gabby Tuiaana had a strong conference debut over the weekend, averaging 3.83 kills per set while hitting .292. The right side also had 9 blocks.
- Junior Helena Vukovic enters the weekend 10th nationally with 0.69 aces per set and 21st with 25 service aces. Both categories lead the CAA.
- Sophomore Jumana Martin averaged 5.33 digs per set at Elon. In Sunday's win, Martin collected 19 digs across the three frames. This season, the libero leads the conference and is ranked 34th in the country with 4.32 digs per set.
- Head coach Jason Kepner is 1-of-21 active Division I coaches to have at least a .662 winning percentage and 375 wins.
SCOUTING TOWSON:
- Towson holds an 8-3 overall record and started conference play with a pair of wins at home against Northeastern.
- Anna Rice leads the Tigers with 3.61 kills per set while Megan Platt and Clara Vorel pace the defense with 108 digs and 35 blocks, respectively.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston holds a 14-10 record against Towson in the series between the programs. The Cougars are 9-5 in home matches. When the Tigers came to the Holy City in 2024, CofC swept the opening match before defeating Towson in five sets in the second contest.
