CLINTON, S.C. – College of Charleston hit .340 as it swept Presbyterian (25-19, 25-13, 25-23) Tuesday evening at the Templeton Center.

CofC has won five straight matches while the Blue Hose slide to 5-3 on the season.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST PRESBYTERIAN:

Charleston had a .476 attacking percentage in the second set.
Sophomores Julia Gnida and Caroline Noonan each collected 11 kills while senior Gabby Tuiaana had 10 kills.
Sophomore Makena Parthen hit .533 with 8 kills and 3 blocks in the victory.
Junior Helena Vukovic tallied 31 assists and 8 digs while sophomore Jumana Martin had a match-high 12 digs to pair with 5 assists.
Junior Cole Crews recorded her second kill of the season Tuesday.

OF NOTE:

Charleston is now 5-1 in the series with Presbyterian and are now 2-0 as the road team.
CofC improves to 31-10 in matches on Tuesday under head coach Jason Kepner.
The Cougars held the Blue Hose to a .071 hitting percentage, the lowest by an opponent this season.
Five different Cougars had service aces in the win.
Charleston has had at least 5 aces in four straight matches.

Charleston returns home to host the Steve Baumrind Invitational Sept. 11-13 at TD Arena. The Cougars face Duquesne in the home opener Friday for a 7 p.m. match. All CofC contests will air live on FloCollege.
