2015: Started 12 games for the Cougars, and played in 13 total. Logged a total of 1005 minutes, and wracked up three assists in three consecutive games against Hofstra (Oct. 17), Northeastern (Oct. 24), and UNCW (Oct. 28).
2014: Appeared in eight games while playing 221 minutes... Attempted two shots with one being on goal.
2013: Appeared in all 16 games with 13 starts… attempted six shots on the year… proved to be a threat to opponents with his speed on and off the ball… played a critical role in winning balls in the midfield for the Cougars.
2012: Saw time in six matches in his first year of play… logged 87 minutes on the pitch and attempted two shots, both of which were placed on target.
2011: Redshirted.
Before Charleston: Lettered all four years for Statesboro High School and was named all-region three times... helped guide his club team, CESA 92 Premier, to two South Carolina State Cup titles... also played an integral role in helping his club team capture two Disney Showcase championships... was selected MVP for the Coastal Empire All-Star Invitational
Personal: Full name is Adam Tyler Purvis ... the son of Kevin and Donna Purvis... born November 13, 1992 ... one of three children, siblings' names are Logan and Christopher... lists his favorite athlete as Lionel Messi.
Purvis on choosing the College of Charleston: "Charleston has a great soccer program, it is a great school and it is on the beach."
Coach Lundy on Purvis: "Adam is a technically gifted player who loves the game. He has the ability to play multiple positions, but does an excellent job at the outside wing position. I'm looking forward to having him in our program and know he is going to challenge our current group of players."
