During Terry's collegiate career, he played at Regis University (2013-2015) and College of Charleston (2016-2017).Â
At Regis University, he was named All-RMAC Third Team in 2013, with a total of 51 starts in 52 games in 3 seasons. In 2013, Terry was part of the team that won the RMAC regular season and reached Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament. At College of Charleston, he started 6 games in 7 played before a season-ending injury.Â
After collegiate play, he went on to play abroad in New Zealand and Germany. In New Zealand, he played for Hamilton Wanderers in the ISPS Handa Premiership from 2018-2019 under Ricki Herbert. From 2020-2021, played for 04/19 Ratingen in the Oberliga Niederrhein.Â
