Sarah Melvin is in her second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the College of Charleston. She works primarily with the men's soccer program.
Prior to CofC, Melvin worked part-time for Premier Sports Medicine in Atlanta, where she served as an athletic trainer for various events including a Spikeball tournament, the JCC Maccabi Games and the U.S. Youth Soccer Games.
A 2019 graduate of the University of Georgia, she earned her bachelor's degree in education in athletic training. While an undergraduate, Melvin was an athletic training student working with a local high school and the UGA track & field, football and baseball programs. She was also an active member of the UGA Sports Medicine Club and served as team captain of her club soccer team on campus.
Originally from Atlanta, Melvin currently resides in Mount Pleasant and is working towards her master's degree in advanced athletic training from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and a certified EMT.
