Huizenga on choosing the College of Charleston: “I chose CofC for several reasons. I fell in love with the beautiful city and its atmosphere and could not think of a better place to play soccer. Also, I knew on my first visit after meeting the coaches and the amazing players that Charleston was exactly what I was looking for.”
Club coach Andy Trevers on Huizenga: “Hannah has brought so much joy to my life in the two years I have had the honor and privilege to coach her. Her talent on the field has been a large part of the transformation of her team, and Hannah’s great pace and quickness and willingness to take players on gives her the ability to change a game when she chooses. This coupled with high technical and tactical ability will be a tremendous addition at the College of Charleston. In addition, Hannah’s personality is very contagious and a smile that is constantly as wide as the Grand Canyon. She shines a light and brings laughter to everyone she touches. She is truly the personality every team needs, and I am excited to hear of the positive impact she will make.”
