The College of Charleston women's sailing team is ranked third in the latest Sailing World College Rankings. The Cougars jumped from seventh last week after posting a third at the Yale Women's Invitational Oct. 16th.

The Cougars are in the midst of a successful season. Of the four women's events so far this year, the Cougars have placed in the top three in all of them, including a first in the SAISA Fall Women's Dinghy Championship held earlier this fall.

The Cougars sent two women to the ICSA Women's Singlehanded Champioships after placing first and second in the SAISA Women's Singlehanded. Anne Bowen and Alana O'Reilly finished seventh and 11th, respectively, at nationals just this past weekend.

The women are back in action this weekend when they travel to Cambridge, Mass., to take part in Harvard's Victorian Urn Regatta.
