#articleRelated { display: none !important; } The nationally-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks scored twice to defeat the College of Charleston Cougars in men's soccer Sunday afternoon at Eugene Stone Stadium in Columbia, S.C.

The Cougars drop 1-4-1 on the season while South Carolina improves to 6-1 with its only loss coming to top-ranked SMU at the Aaron Olitsky Memorial Classic in Charleston.

CofC will be back in action Wednesday when the travel to Statesboro, GA, to face Southern Conference foe Georgia Southern in a 4:00pm match.
