After a scoreless first half, Lesesne scored from about five yards out on a cross from Hollingsworth. It was Lesesne's second goal and Hollingsworth's sixth assist of the season.
For the game, Charleston outshot Wofford18-8 and led in corner kicks 6-5.
Keith Wiggans played the entire game and recorded one save. He also picked up his fifth shutout of the season. Zach Vogt gave up the goal for Wofford and recorded four saves on the night.
With the win, Charleston improves to 11-5-2 overall and 5-2-0 in Southern Conference action. Wofford falls to 3-14-1 overall and 1-6-1 in the Southern Conference.
Up next for the Cougars is a road trip to Boone, NC. Charleston takes on Appalachian State on Sunday, November 10 at 2:00 pm.
