#articleRelated { display: none !important; } Six different Cougars scored goals as the College of Charleston women's soccer team defeated The Citadel Bulldogs, 6-0, in women's soccer action this afternoon at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

The Cougars improve to 10-5-2 overall and 6-3-1 in the conference, while the Bulldogs drop to 2-13-1 and 0-10-0.

The Cougars are now undefeated in their last six matches with four wins and two ties.

Carolyn Morris scored from Kristin Rhyne just 4:09 minutes into the game for the game winner. Teryn Schuetz netted the second goal (23:36), while Crystal Petroccoro added the third (49:35). The fourth came from Claire Wigfall (58:44), with Caroline Wertis taking in the fifth goal (58:27). The last goal of the game came from Brennan McCord at the 79:40 mark. Schuetz also added assists on the fourth and fifth goals.

Petroccoro led the Cougars with five shots, while The Citadel's Holli Knox took the only shot for the Bulldogs. Charleston out-shot The Citadel 22-1, while the Bulldogs came away with five saves on the game.

The College of Charleston travels to Clemson, Oct. 28th for a 7:00 PM match against the Tigers. The Citadel hosts Western Carolina Oct. 31, at 3:00 PM.
