#articleRelated { display: none !important; } The College of Charleston men's soccer team scored two goals in a six-minute stretch in the first half and added another score in the second half on its way to a 3-0 win over Georgia Southern Wednesday at Eagle Field.

College of Charleston (5-3-2, 1-2-0 Southern Conference) got on the board first with Troy Lesesne's third goal of the season at the 23:22 mark. The Cougars followed at 29:48 with Sage Martina's fourth of the season, a blast off a rebound.

The Cougars ended the scoring on Ben Hollingsworth's fourth strike of the year, a header off of a Scott Milroth throw-in.

Georgia Southern (3-6-2, 1-2-1) keeper Kirk Latbeaudiere registered four saves, while Keith Wiggans recorded nine for the Cougars in the shutout.

Georgia Southern returns to action on Sunday at Georgia State in a 1:00 p.m. match, while Charleston is next in action on Saturday hosting Appalachian State at 6:00 p.m.
