#articleRelated { display: none !important; } Members of the College of Charleston cross country teams will travel to Greenville, N.C. to participate in the NCAA Southeast Regional on Saturday. The women's race will begin at 11:00am with the men's race to follow at 12:15pm at Overton's Lake Kristi.

Ashley Arnold and Kyle Palmquist will represent the Cougar women and Michael Rella will participate on the men's side.

"This will be an exciting meet to be a part of," said head coach Amy Schuckert. "It will be a good opportunity for our athletes to gain some big meet experience."

Rella, a freshman from Summerville, S.C., has shown steady improvement in his freshman year. He was the Cougars top finisher at the Furman Invitational with a 28:10.43 and earned two top-20 finishes on the year.

Arnold, a freshman from Lexington, Ky., earned All-SoCon honors after her fifth place finish at the SoCon Championships. Arnold was also named Freshman of the Year. She finished in the top-10 in all but one race this year and earned two first place finishes.

Palmquist, an East Haddam, Conn. native, took first in the Roly Poly/CofC Invitational and earned four more top-10 finishes. The junior finished 19th at the SoCon Championships with a time of 19:41.28.
