The Cougars close out the regular season with a 7-8-2 overall record and a 5-3-2 mark in league play. The Mocs finish 8-9-0 and 5-4-0.
Seven College of Charleston seniors were honored in pregame festivities. The seniors include Emily Brenner, Perri Brenner, Megan Broderick, Rhyne, Hoban, Carolyn Morris, and Jessie Johnson
Hoban picked up the unassisted game-winner at 14:53 and netted her second goal of the match at 63:10. She also had the assists in Rhyne's two goals, which occurred at 20:34 and 26:24. Teryn Schuetz garnered two assists on the day, picking up one on Hoban's second goal and one on the goal by Broderick, the Cougars' fifth, at 71:37.
Charleston out-shot Chattanooga 12-7, with the Mocs coming away with the 6-1 advantage in saves. Elfa Erlingsdottir led Chattanooga with two shots, while Rhyne paced the Cougars with three shots in the match.
Both teams are off until they travel to Greenville, S.C. for the southern Conference tournament Nov. 3-6. The times and opponents will be announced later.
