The College of Charleston men's tennis team was edged by Binghamton in non-conference action this afternoon at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Two of the six singles matches went into a third set with Charleston and Binghamton splitting them. Liran Kling fell to Richemn Mourad at number two singles (6-7, 6-3, 10-6), while Jimmy Petit defeated Brian O'Connor at number six (2-6, 6-2, 6-0). The Cougars took the doubles point with three doubles victories, including two close 9-8 wins at numbers two and three.
Binghamton hosts Hartford April 2nd at 11:00 AM, while the College of Charleston travels to Davidson the same day for a 1:30 PM match.
