#articleRelated { display: none !important; } Ashley Arnold finished third and picked up All-SoCon honors in the 5000 meter run at the Southern Conference Championships in Cullowhee, N.C. on Sunday. The College of Charleston finished in eighth place as a team.

Arnold, a freshman from Lexington, Ky., captured third place with a time of 17:41.87, in picking up All-SoCon honors. She was the second Cougar to capture the honors in this season's outdoor championship. Teammate Kosha Lance was All-SoCon in the hammer throw, which took place on Saturday.

Dominique Boone was fifth in the high jump, breaking the school record she previously held with a height of 5-01.75.
