With the win the Wolfpack improve to 3-2, while the Cougars fell to 2-3.
N.C. State, which held a 25-9 advantage in shots in the game, grabbed a 1-0 lead on El Hadj Cisse's goal just 14:45 into the match.
Charleston Jeremy Gold scored at the 27:01 mark, his sixth goal on the season, and tied the match at 1-1 at intermission.
Aaron King's score at the 77:17 mark gave the Wolfpack a 3-1 advantage.
The Cougars compete in the University of South Carolina Tournament in Columbia next weekend. CofC play Penn at 5:30 on Friday, and battle Loyola-Chicago at noon on Sunday.
