#articleRelated { display: none !important; } College of Charleston's Women's Track & Field team competed in the North Carolina Fast Times Indoor Meet on the campus of UNC Chapel Hill Friday and Saturday in its first competition of the 2006 season.

Senior Kosha Lance had a fourth place finish in the weight throw as the Georgetown, S.C. native earned a mark of 18.22 meters in the event. Sarah Massenburg also had a top five finish as the freshman from Summerville, S.C. finished fifth in the 5000 meter run with a time of 19:49.95.

The Cougars will be in action again next week as they head back to Chapel Hill to take part in the Carolina Invite Indoor Track & Field Meet on Feb. 4th. Teams competing in the event include: Campbell, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Davidson, Duke, Elon, High Point, Kennesaw State, North Carolina State, Shaw, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, UCF, Va. Tech, William & Mary, and Winston-Salem State.
