
CofC Women?s Tennis Gains 5-2 Win at Elon

The victory improves CofC to 13-5 overall and 4-0 in the SoCon, while Elon drops to 9-9 and 3-3 in the Southern Conference.
The Cougars won all three doubles matches to gain one team point. The CofC group of Holly Dowse and Anna Lee Evans improved to 13-3 in doubles matches this season with an 8-3 victory over Deanna Bailey and Jenn Tucci in the No. 1 doubles match.
CofC also won four out of the six singles matches to clinch the victory. CofC's Laura Borza improved her singles record this season to 13-3 and won her seventh consecutive singles match with a 7-6, 6-2 win over Kelley Moore of Elon in the No. 2 singles match. Dowse's 6-1, 6-0 victory over Francie Rudolph in the No. 4 singles match improved her season record to 9-2.
