Summer Chambless won the pole vault, while Jessica Cumbee had a personal record as the
Chambless earned first place in the pole vault with a mark of 11'0.25”, while Cumbee's personal best mark of 9'10.75” put her second. Isabel Boersma finished 15th in the javelin with a personal record of 26.76 meters.
Cara Browning finished fifth in the 3000 meter run with a time of 11:44.29. In sixth place, with a personal record time of 11:48.42, was Lora Thomas. Kirsten Schumy competed in the 400 meter hurdles, placing 16th with a personal-best time of 1:10.46.
Emily Jackson, Schumy, Boersma and Mary Zolga ran for the Cougars in the 4X400 meter relay and finished fourth with a season-best time of 4:03.89.
Brynne Johnson placed second in the high jump for the Cougars with a height of 5'1.75”, while Boersma's 4'9.75” was good enough for sixth in the high jump.
The Cougars next compete at the Southern Conference Outdoor Championships April 26-27 in
