
Former Coach Ralph Ciabattari to Deliver Saturday?s First Pitch

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Former College of Charleston baseball head coach Ralph Ciabattari will deliver the ceremonial first pitch prior to Saturday's regular season finale against William & Mary at Patriots Point.
Ciabattari led the Cougars to a 22-12-1 record in 1991, the program's first season since 1948. A native of Bugettstown, Pennsylvania, Ciabattari coached nine seasons at CofC compiling a 215-217-2 record. He was a four-year letter winner as a third baseman at Charleston Southern from 1973-77 and began his coaching career as an assistant at CSU in 1982.
First pitch for Saturday's game is set for 1 p.m. College of Charleston will honor Ciabattari as well as its four seniors pregame.
