POSTGAME QUOTES
College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant
On having balanced scoring and four players in double figures …
"The big key for us is that we continue to share the ball. We moved the ball around today and our guys took advantage of the opportunities. When you look at our guys' shooting percentages that is encouraging to have that type of balance. All of them shot over 50 percent showing they are taking good shots."
Â
On the play of Grant Riller in back-to-back games …
"I don't know if I've seen many freshmen that can get back-to-back games with 25 and 30 (points). We knew he was capable of that based on what we saw in the recruiting process. Now that he is starting to do it, it's good to see that he is getting comfortable out there. He's taking good shots and being aggressive. Hopefully, he can continue the output he is giving us on the offense and continue to focus on defense."
Â
On the team's free-throw shooting at Drexel …
"We were missing a bulk of free throws in our previous game. But, we didn't beat ourselves over it."
Â
On what he told the team after the Towson overtime loss …
"I didn't want to go in there (lockerroom) and get them flustered by that loss. We talked about being eight points better on the road. You can't leave it in the hands of anyone else. I knew they could do a better job and I could do a better job. That's what we wanted to do at Drexel – do a better job and find a way to win."
