NEW LONDON, Conn. --- Stefano Peschiera (Lima, Peru) and Grace McCarthy (San Diego, Calif.) paced the College of Charleston sailing team to a first-place finish at the Danmark Trophy, Kelly-Ann Arrindell (Port-of-Spain, Trinidad) and Marian Williams (Sai Kung, Hong Kong, China) finished 1-2 at the SAISA Women's Singlehand Championship, and the duo of Alie Toppa and Caroline Bracken (Bridgewater, Mass.) dominated A-Division to lead the Cougars to victory at the SAISA Women's Dinghy to highlight a three-win weekend for The College.

Arrindell dominated the field at the SAISA Women's Singlehanded on Saturday, winning four of the six races to finish atop the standings – and three points shy of the minimum – with nine points. Williams came in second with 14 points, as the duo both qualified for the ICSA Women's Singlehanded Championships in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Nov. 4 and 5.

The Cougars added to their win total for the weekend at the 75th Danmark Trophy on Saturday and Sunday, as Peschiera and McCarthy paced CofC to a 15-point victory over MIT with a solid performance in A-Division. In addition to Peschiera and McCarthy's four-point win in A-Division, Augie Dale (Pewaukee, Wis.) and sophomore Katie Lounsbury finished one point out of first in B-Division to secure the team title for the Cougars.

Nicole Simon (Coronado, Calif.) skippered B-Division to 49 points alongside Maura Lonergan (Marion, Mass.) to secure the Cougars' 19-point victory.

The Cougars rounded out the weekend with a second-place finish at the North Points #3 in Clemson, S.C., as sophomore Will Whitmore (Norfolk, Va.) skippered A-Division to 15 points alongside sophomore crew Max Williams (Irvine, Calif.). Junior skipper Elizabeth Mignon (Bay Head, N.J.) and junior crew Katherine Matheson (San Diego, Calif.) finished one point out of first in B-Division, as the Cougars ended the day with 25 points – seven behind first-place South Carolina.
