Cougars Crack Top-25 In VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Poll

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- After picking up a pair of crucial victories in Colonial Athletic Association play last week, the College of Charleston volleyball team cracked the top-25 in the VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Poll for the first time this season at No. 24.
College of Charleston (22-4, 11-1 CAA) is currently riding a 10-match winning streak after needing only seven sets to dispatch James Madison and UNC Wilmington last week. The Cougars hold a two-match lead atop the CAA standings over the duo of Towson and Northeastern with four matches remaining in the regular season.
UC San Diego tops the poll with 21 first-place votes, followed by BYU (3), Cal Poly, Creighton (1), and Western Kentucky (1). The Cougars enter the poll in 24th this week after receiving votes in each of the last three polls.
Charleston returns to the court on Friday, November 3 when they travel to Towson, Md. to take on Towson in CAA play. First serve is slated for 7 pm.
