The College Receiving Votes In Latest AVCA Poll

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team is receiving votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 15 poll after going 4-0 this past weekend, announced AVCA officials on Monday afternoon.
The College of Charleston (5-3) posted a perfect 4-0 mark at its CofC Beach Classic this past weekend, including a thrilling 3-2 come-from-behind win over No. 18 Tulane. The Cougars are one of 26 teams ranked or receiving votes in this week's AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Poll, coming in at No. 22 behind Loyola Marymount and in front of Tulane.
Charleston returns to the sand on Saturday, April 1 when it travels to Wilmington, N.C. for the UNCW Beach Bash. Charleston will face Stevenson at 10:30 am, and host UNCW at 5:30 pm on the first day of the two-day event.
