AWENDAW, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's golf team shot the fourth-lowest round of the tournament with a final-round, 8-under par 280 to place 11th (+3) on the final day of The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate held at Bulls Bay Golf Club.

Freshmen
Hunter Dunagan (Augusta, Ga.) and
Michael Sass (Louisville, Ky.) both shot 3-under rounds of 69 to move CofC up two spots on the final leaderboard. Dunagan eagled the par-5 2nd and birdied the 10th and 13th, while Sass made five birdies in the final round.

Senior
Parker Derby (Columbus, Ga.) carded a 2-under 70 with five birdies and senior All-American
William Rainey (Charlotte, N.C.) shot even par on Tuesday.

For the tournament, Rainey was the Cougars' top finisher tying for 24th individually at even par with rounds of 71, 73 and 72, while Derby was tied for 30th (+1) with rounds of 74, 73 and 70.

No. 31-ranked South Carolina won the team title for the second year in a row with a three-round score of 844 (-20), while No. 25 Ole Miss was runner-up at -16. The field was comprised of 10 Top-50 ranked teams. Ben Wolcott of Ole Miss was the recipient of the
Jackson Moore Individual Medalist award shooting 12-under par for the tournament with rounds of 67, 68 and 69.

Up next, the Cougars will travel to the Clemson Invitational on April 7-9 at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls in Sunset, S.C., prior to conference tournament play.
