CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston volleyball team (12-4, 2-1 CAA) heads into a critical stretch of its Colonial Athletic Association schedule, with the Cougars set to square off against two of the nation's four remaining undefeated teams in James Madison (11-0, 2-0 CAA) and Towson (16-0, 2-0 CAA) in back-to-back matches.
Sophomore Peyton Eisnaugle (Dallas, Texas) has appeared in four matches (nine sets) thus far – including one start – and tallied 14 kills on 33 swings. The 6-foot-1 middle blocker has recorded eight blocks for an average of 0.89 per set. Perhaps her best appearance of the season came on September 16 against Mercer, when she totaled four kills on five swings and added a pair of blocks in the effort. We sat down with Eisnaugle earlier this week to learn more about the person inside the jersey in the this week's edition of Behind the Numbers.

A: They've helped me be selfless and considerate of others' wants and needs, which I try to live by.
Q: What are you going to miss most about your time at The College?
A: Spending time with the team, because I love being around them. I'll also miss the coaches, and taking the classes I enjoy.
Check back next week when we sit down with sophomore Lauren Freed (Troy, Ohio) for the next installment of Behind the Numbers.
