POSTGAME QUOTES
College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant
On the game …
"They (Oklahoma State) did a good job and were prepared to play. Their pressure and athleticism bothered us. It was very uncharacteristic for us. I give those guys a lot of credit for taking us out of everything we tried to run."
Â
On Oklahoma State's Michael Weathers coming off the bench …
"We knew he would eventually play and knew he was a good player. Certainly he made a difference. We talked about him being a guy who made his team different. He had a good game tonight. He definitely helps his team."
Â
On not being able to combat Oklahoma State's run …
"It was a combination of things. We didn't stay disciplined. Some of it was because they forced us to be out of character with their athleticism and the way they deny everything. We got up and the next two minutes they went on a run. The way they play – there are going be runs and spurts depending on your team's decision-making. If you show any sign of lack of fundamentals, they can go on an 8-0 or 10-0 run quick. That's what happened. We didn't handle it well, but we will learn from it and try to focus on growth for the future."
