Quotable – Head Coach Candice M. Jackson
"It was a really good team win. We had 23 assists and 13 turnovers which is a great way to open the season… Shooting 13-19 from three is big… Veteran guards came up big, each having 19 from Deja [Ford] and Darien [Huff]… Freshman are really coming in… So overall it was really big. We gotta tidy up some things on the defensive end I think and get better there. We're giving up too many three's and fouling a little too much, but overall really, really, proud of the effort."
