CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team (2-1) continues their seven-match season-opening road trip on Tuesday, when they head down the coast to Georgia to take on Savannah State (0-0) at noon.
The Cougars will look for yet another win as they come off a 6-1 win over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. The Cougars won the doubles point 2-1 before winning four out of five singles flights.
Savannah State is opening its season on Tuesday, looking to bounce back from a winless 0-21 campaign last year. It will be the fifth time the Cougars have played the Tigers, and the first time they've played in the Peach State since 2007. Since joining Division I in 1991, CofC is a perfect 4-0 against Savannah State.
