Cougars Kick Off Home-Stand with Savannah State Saturday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team (7-3) kicks off a four-match home-stand on Saturday when they will host the Savannah State Tigers (0-3) for a 3:30 p.m. encounter.
The Cougars have dropped two of three after starting the season 6-1, and will look to bounce back to their winning ways. CofC's most recent loss was a 7-0 defeat on the road against Appalachian State, the program's first loss to the Mountaineers in nearly two decades.
The Tigers are 0-3 on the year without even a set-win to show for their efforts thus far. Their match with the Cougars will actually be their second of the day, as they're slated to visit Charleston Southern earlier in the day. CofC has never before lost to the Tigers, including a 7-0 win in Savannah earlier this season.
Admission to all CofC home tennis matches is free of charge.
