Pair Of Team Races, North Points #5 Await Cougars This Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team is on the road for three regattas this weekend, including two team race regattas: Szambecki Team Race in Norfolk, Va. and the Seahawk Team Race Invite in St. Mary's, Md. on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25. The Cougars will also sail at the North Points #5 in Wilmington, N.C. on Saturday.

Christophe Killian (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Elizabeth Pemberton (Osterville, Mass.) will pace the Cougars at the Szambecki Team Race, along with Stefano Peschiera (Lima, Peru) and Grace McCarthy (San Diego, Calif.). Augie Dale (Pewaukee, Wis.) and Katie Lounsbury (Jensen Beach, Fla.) will represent the Cougars as well, with Carter Cameron (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) and Annabel Carrington (White Stone, Va.) serving as alternates.

At the Seahawk Team Race Invite at St. Mary's, Jack Brown (Newtown Square, Pa.), Laura Masterson (Kemah, Texas), and Oliver Parsons (Stonington, Conn.) will pace the Cougars, along with the duos of Lawson Willard/Mac Dickson (Alexandria, Va.) and Steven Leuck (San Diego, Calif.)/Payton Alexander.

Will Whitmore (Norfolk, Va.) will skipper A-Division with crew Peter Barron (Amagansett, N.Y.) at the North Points #5 on Saturday, with Nicole Simon (Coronado, Calif.) skippering B-Division alongside crew Katherine Matheson (San Diego, Calif.).
