Postgame Quotes - Head Coach Christian Michner
On the game…
"I'm so proud of how the Cougars played this evening against a tough Coastal Carolina team. They [CCU] were organized and tough to break down, but we did a great job of moving the ball and being patient in our possession."
On the goal…
"Sara [Deutsch] scored a great goal and one that we'd worked on at training all week.
Maddy Brill-Edwards went forward with the ball on the right side, beat their left back and delivered a wonderful ball to Sara at the back post. We had worked on that movement over the course of the last week and it was nice to see it come to fruition. Overall it was a great night for the Cougars."
