WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team fell to Wake Forest 7-0 on Saturday morning in the second match of the 2019 season for head coach
Angelo Anastopoulo's squad.
The Deacons earned the doubles point with victories in all three matchups over Charleston; 6-2 on court one, 6-3 on court two and 6-0 on court three.
Lily LaBiche and
Turner Yates were the lone Cougars to pick up a set victory in singles action, the hosts winning on courts one through six to take the 7-0 win.
Charleston moves to 1-1 on the young season and looks to Sunday's noon matchup on the road at Clemson.
