CHARLESTON, S.C. --- College of Charleston is back on the road this weekend with a trip to Maryland for a Sunday tilt with Colonial Athletic Association leader Towson. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at SECU Arena in Towson, Md.
THE OPPONENT
Towson carries a 17-2 overall record this season and leads the league with an unblemished 7-0 mark against CAA opponents. The Tigers enter the weekend ranked third in the nation in opponent hitting percentage (.124) and lead the league with a .281 attacking clip. Lydia Wiers (.439) and Silvia Grassini (.424) occupy the top two spots in the league in hitting percentage.

- The Cougars enter Sunday's match with a 1-5 record in league play after falling to Hofstra and Northeastern on the road last weekend.
- Four Cougars are averaging more than 2.00 kills per set over the last five matches including a team-leading 3.22 clip for Mandy Napierala.
- Freshman setter Tori Carpenter has seized the starting role over the last four matches averaging 9.47 assists and 2.00 digs per set in that span.
- Senior Peyton Eisnaugle has been solid over the last five matches averaging 1.93 kills per set while hitting .358. The 6-foot-1 middle blocker also has 10 blocks in that span.
- Junior Logan Manusky has been a stalwart on the back row over the last five matches averaging a squad-best 4.94 digs per set. She posted a career-high 29 digs in a five-set thriller against Elon on Oct. 4.
- Senior Lauren Freed enters Sunday's match four digs shy of becoming the 20th player in program history to reach the 1,000-mark for her career. She is also 23 shy of recording her 1,000th career kill.
- Kepner, the Cougars' all-time wins leader, needs eight victories to reach the 300-mark for his career.
