SENIOR DAY
CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Soccer is set to return home for the last time this season to honor its seniors for Senior Day as the Cougars face off against Towson on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
Last Outing
The Cougars fell to William & Mary on the road by a score of 1-0 on Oct. 24. CofC put on a strong defensive effort, especially junior keeper Meredith Holton, who registered six saves on seven shots faced. Freshman Natalie Sgro shot a game-high seven shots with one on target. The Tribe put the game away in the 84th minute.
The Opponent
The Tigers come into the match with an overall record of 3-13-1 and a 0-8-0 record in CAA play. They fell to Hofstra by a score of 5-1 in their most recent meeting. Head Coach is in the midst of her first year at the helm of the program. The team is led by Jenna Blank who has logged a team-high four goals and is tied for first on the team with two assists.
