CHARLESTON, S.C. --- College of Charleston heads back out on the road this weekend for a pair of crucial away matchups at William & Mary on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and Elon on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in Colonial Athletic Association play.
LAST TIME OUT
Mandy Napierala delivered a match-high 20 kills to pace the Cougars in a 3-1 setback to Delaware on Sunday. Brooke Harris recorded a double-double with career-highs of 31 assists and 13 digs as Logan Manusky collected 25 digs to become the 22nd player in program history to reach the 1,000-dig mark for her career.
THE OPPONENTS
William & Mary comes into Friday's match with a 6-16 overall record and a 2-9 mark in conference play. The Tribe rank third in the league in blocks per set (2.17) while Kate Dedrick is fifth in the CAA in kills per frame (3.05). Julia Brown ranks third in the conference in blocks per set (1.19).
Elon enters the weekend with a 12-13 overall record and a 6-5 mark in CAA play. The Phoenix rank fifth in the conference in both kills (12.45) and assists (11.66) per set. Leah Daniel is third in the CAA in kills per set (3.84).

- The dropped a pair of tightly contested four-set affairs to James Madison and Delaware last weekend.
- Napierala has been on a tear over the last five matches averaging a team-high 3.94 kills per set. The Rochester, N.Y. native posted back-to-back 20-kill performances last weekend including a match- and career-high 22 against JMU on Friday.
- Redshirt senior Kayla Demari has played a key role in the Cougars' attack over the last five matches averaging 2.50 kills per set. She delivered perhaps her best showing of the season with nine kills on 16 swings without an error against UNCW last Tuesday.
- Junior Logan Manusky collected her first career CAA Defensive Player of the Week nod on Monday after averaging 6.73 digs per set last week with a trio of 20-dig performances. After equaling the program's three-set single-match record in Tuesday's win over UNCW, the San Diego native became the 22nd player in program history to reach the 1,000 career dig mark on Sunday.
- Lauren Freed has been lethal behind the service line so far this season with 24 aces through 22 matches. Her average of 0.34 aces per set ranks sixth in the CAA. She has recorded at least three aces on four occasions this season.
- Head Coach Jason Kepner, the Cougars' all-time wins leader, needs seven victories to reach the 300-mark for his career.
