Quotable – Head Coach Candice M. Jackson
"Anytime you only score eight points in a quarter and let them run off 25, it's going to be hard to come back from... Everything that I look at on the stats sheet is pretty even... Kudos to them [Elon], especially [Lexi] Mercer for rattling off 21 in the first half, we did a good job of shutting her down in the second but we have to put the ball in the hole... We start getting stops and we then we have to score and convert... If we're not hitting, you have to be more defensive minded, amp up your defense... That's when you band together a little more... The fourth quarter, we did it, we were much better in the fourth quarter, but we need to put together a full 40 minutes."
