The Cougars and Bucs meet for the 72nd time on Wednesday, with CofC carrying a 10-5 record and Charleston Southern entering the week at 5-12. Wednesday's match-up is the second of four meetings between the in-city foes this season.
Scouting Charleston Southern
Charleston Southern enters Wednesday's contest with a 5-12 record following a series setback to The Citadel over the weekend. The Bucs dropped Friday and Sunday's tilts while emerging with a 10-5 victory on Saturday.
Josh Litchfield leads the Bucs with a .357 batting average and nine RBI, while Ryan Stoudemire has collected three home runs and driven in 10 runs. Wednesday's starter, Cam Weinberger, is 0-2 with a 5.79 ERA in three starts this season.
