CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball team will look to bounce back in its fourth and final meeting of the season with Charleston Southern on Tuesday as the Cougars make the short trek to CSU Ballpark in North Charleston. First pitch is slated for 6:00 p.m. with junior Tradd James (Sumter, S.C.) taking the ball for the Cougars opposite Charleston Southern junior Ryan Stoudemire.
 
Game Preview
The Cougars and Bucs meet for the fourth and final time this season on Tuesday evening. Charleston has won two of the three previous match-ups this season, including a 9-7 victory on Mar. 27 at Patriots Point.
 
Scouting Charleston Southern
Charleston Southern enters the week with a 17-30 overall record and a 7-14 mark in Big South play after dropping two of three to Campbell over the weekend. The Bucs lead the Big South in strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.17) and rank third in walks drawn (194).
 
Max Ryerson leads the Bucs with a .311 batting average to go along with five homers and 29 RBI's. Ryan Stoudemire paces CSU in home runs (10) and RBI's (35), and carries a 1-4 record with a 5.79 ERA into his second start on the hill.

The Cougars hold a 56-17 lead in the all-time series with Charleston Southern. Charleston has won 12 of the last 14 meetings in the series after picking up a 9-7 victory at Patriots Point on Mar. 27.

Price on Point
Right-hander Josh Price has been superb over the last 10 games, posting a 1-0 record with a 1.08 ERA and 9 strikeouts in 16.2 innings over seven appearances. The junior has held opposing batters to a .183 average in that stretch, and allowed only two runs on 11 hits and four walks.
 
Heating Up
Chaz Davey has been the Coguars' hottest hitter over the last 10 games, leading the team with a .350 (14-for-40) batting average, four doubles, one home run, and nine RBI's. The senior infielder drove in three key runs with a bases-clearing double on Sunday to give the Cougars a 4-3 lead in the seventh at William & Mary.
 
Tough Out
Luke Manzo has been one of the toughest players in both the CAA and the nation to retire via the strikeout this season. The senior shortstop has struck out just seven times so far this spring, and ranks second in the nation in toughest to strikeout (17.6 PA per K). He has struck out only once in his last 14 games.
