HEAD COACH CHRISTIAN MICHNER
"We're disappointed in the result of the game, but certainly not in our effort and in the chances that we created to score. We were off pace in the first 15-20 minutes of the game, but we pegged our way back in. I though we dominated the game for large portions of it, but we switched off once or twice and got punished for it. I'm very happy with some individual efforts tonight and we know we are getting better every day. We've got to quickly forget about this result and get ready for Sunday."

WHAT'S NEXT
The Cougars stay on the road as they face off against South Carolina on Sunday, Sept. 1 in Columbia, S.C. with a kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
