The Short Story: Cougars climbed back after an early deficit and scored two unanswered goals to get the win over Middle Tennessee. Senior Rachel Kim and freshman Olivia Freitas named to the All-Tournament Team.

• Junior Maddie Cybulski and freshman Olivia Freitas scored a goal in the victory. Freitas logged her first collegiate goal of her career.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Blue Raiders took an early 1-0 lead in the 9^th minute of the match.
• Deutsch, Beck and Boualany forced the MTSU keeper to make three saves in the 18^th, 24^th and 29^th minutes, respectively, which kept the match at 1-0 MTSU.
• Cybulski evened the score at 1-1 when she received a Koomen pass and let one fly into the back of the net in the 43^rd minute.
• Freitas scored the game-winning goal in the 56^th minute, marking her first collegiate goal of her career.
• Meredith Holton made two clutch saves in the 49^th minute to keep the score even at 1-1.

The Cougars will stay on the road as they face off against Charleston Southern on Wednesday, Sept. 18 with kick-off scheduled for 4 p.m.
