CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston volleyball team will wrap up its seven-match road trip with a quick crosstown jaunt to take on The Citadel in a match originally scheduled for September 2. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m. at McAlister Field House.
THE OPPONENT
The Citadel carries a 2-4 record this season with wins over Saint Francis and South Carolina State. The Bulldogs are averaging 10.95 kills, 1.68 aces and 1.64 blocks per set this season
QUOTABLE

NOTABLES
- The Cougars enter the week coming off a 1-2 weekend at the Bobcat Invitational that included a straight-set win over UConn on Saturday.
- Peyton Eisnaugle paced the offense with 2.20 kills per set and a .321 hitting percentage over the weekend.
- Sophomore Amani Dunston turned in her second collegiate double-double with career-highs of 24 assists and 12 digs in the Cougars' sweep of UConn.
- Senior Lauren Freed leads the squad and ranks third in the CAA with 0.45 service aces per set after dropping in two against Virginia.
- Redshirt freshman Claire Campbell put together perhaps her best performance as a Cougar with eight kills on 12 swings without an error against UConn. She also added a pair of blocks.
- The Cougars' blocking corps has put on a show over the first three weeks of the season with an average of 2.21 blocks per set, which ranks third in the CAA/
- Kepner, the Cougars' all-time wins leader, needs 11 victories to reach the 300-mark for his career.
- Charleston is picked third in the CAA Preseason Poll behind Hofstra and preseason favorite James Madison.
