
Cougars Sweep Bulldogs in Tuesday Tussle

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Four Cougars combined for 29 kills and Logan Manusky paced the defense with 21 digs to lead College of Charleston to a straight-set sweep of The Citadel on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars and Bulldogs combined for more than 230 attack attempts and over 110 digs in a three-set battle. Charleston's quartet of Sylvia Duggan, Peyton Eisnaugle, Mandy Napierala and Lauren Freed combined for 29 of the Cougars' 35 kills in the contest as The College posted a .179 hitting percentage as a team. The Cougars finished with seven service aces while the Bulldogs' 13 service errors proved costly. Charleston's defense held The Citadel to a .154 attacking clip in the contest.
COUGAR OF THE MATCH
Junior libero Logan Manusky finished with a team-high 21 digs after posting 19 through the first two sets – including 11 in set two. The San Diego, Calif. native also added three assists.
