HEAD COACH CHRISTIAN MICHNER
"It was another gritty performance from my team today. The girls were up for it right from the start. We talked about making sure we are staying connected and doing all the little things consistently throughout the entire match. There is no time to turn off in this league and it's a major credit to this team's focus and intensity. Playing away is never easy and I'm so proud of the way we played together and the way the girls met each challenge head on. We're happy to come away with the points in this one."

WHAT'S NEXT
The Cougars will travel to Wilmington, N.C. to face off against UNCW on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
