Men's Soccer Faces Off Against Radford At USC Upstate's Campus

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Men's Soccer is set to travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to face off against Radford at USC Upstate's campus on Sunday, Sept. 8 with kick-off scheduled for noon.
Last Outing
The Cougars earned their first win of the season when they defeated Presbyterian by a score of
1-0 on Friday, Sept. 6 to move to 1-2 on the season. Heffron came up big late in the second half, scoring the game-winning goal from a Akshat Singh assist. This was the first meeting between the two programs, with the Cougars now leading the series 1-0 all-time.
The Opponent
Radford is coming off a season in which they recorded an overall record of 7-9 and a 5-3 record in conference play. This season, Radford is currently 1-2 overall, with its only win coming from a 4-3 win over UNCG. This will be the first meeting between the two programs in both of their histories. Head coach Bryheem Hancock is in the midst of his third year at the helm of the program, logging an overall record of 18-15-4.
