POSTGAME QUOTES
College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant
On the game …
"I thought our guys played really hard. They had a competitive spirit about 'em. Fourth game in seven days. We showed great endurance and inner strength. We have a lot to build on from this game today. I thought our bench gave us a good lift allowing us to continue to keep up our intensity. We have to keep building on it."
Â
On Brevin Galloway's first half …
"He is our green-light shooter. He has been shooting well all year. That's what we recruited him to do. He delivered tonight. He played great and did some unbelievable things. He made some timely, big-time shots."
Â
College of Charleston Senior Guard Grant Riller
On moving into second all-time in career scoring behind Andrew Goudelock …
"It's an achievement that I will probably look back on later down the road and appreciate a little bit more. It's a blessing and honor that my coaches and teammates trust me enough to take the shots that I take and let me play so free."
Â
On looking for his shot more so in league play …
"I think it's just coming through the offense. Just trying to take what the defense gives me. But, at the same time, making the right basketball play. That's what I focus on the most."
Â
College of Charleston Junior Guard Brevin Galloway
On his explosive first half and 7-for-10 shooting from long range …
"Honestly, during the game, my first shot was an airball. After that I thought, 'no shot will be uglier than that. They are going in after this one.' After the airball, nothing was going to be worse than that, so I kept shooting it."
